The Complete Guide to MEMORY MASTERY by Harry Lorayne - Book Reveiw

My decision to read the book 'The complete Guide to Memory Mastery by Harry Lorayne' is driven by his previous book Mind Power, As I have shared in my previous book review that I read the book Mind Power by Harry Lorayne with the perception that it is a book on memory improvement but ended up reading a book on overall personality development. This time I got it right, Memory Mastery is the book is completely focused on organising and developing the power of your mind.

In the first chapter itself the author started with some questions to test our general observation with the title called the 'How keen is your observation?' and most of the questions asked are related to everyday things what we see but ignore to observe. I couldn't answer many of them though I see those things everyday like... which light is on the top of the traffic light? Red or Green?, The number 6 on your wrist watch is Roman number VI or Arabic 6?... The reason he explains why we are unable to answer such a simple questions that we see them everyday but we hardly give a chance to get it into our memory, things that we see every need a passport to get into our memory that is 'observation'. Without a keen observation, nothing will get a space in your memory...

Taking about habit is memory he quoted words of Thomas De Quincey "I feel assured that there is no such thing as ultimate forgetting; traces once impressed upon the memory are indestructible." and Plato said this way to show the importance of memory, "All knowledge is but remembrance."

I haven't finished reading the book yet! so I will update my reveiw once I complete the reading..
